We had a fantastic stay at this place! The location is absolutely perfect, nestled at the top of a mountain and directly on the side of a cliff, with stunning views of the sea. It's also conveniently situated between two charming towns, both of which are easily accessible within a 20-minute walk along the promenade. The hotel offers a range of services and amenities that greatly enhanced our comfort and convenience, such as laundry facilities, a welcome drink upon arrival, and assistance with tours and tickets. Our room was well-appointed with heating, tea and coffee facilities, a cozy sitting area, and a spacious terrace with dining table and garden furniture. We also appreciated the complimentary toiletries and fully equipped kitchen.
We would highly recommend this hotel to others.

La Francesca is a small holiday village rather than a hotel, and the appartments have a cooking area and good storage. You definitely need a car to get there as it's several kilometres outside Levanto down a minor road. The swimming pool is only open in the afternoon so we didn't try it, but it looked good. The restaurant is down near the sea and we didn't fancy driving down the winding road to it, or walking back up the steep hill after dark, so we didn't try it either. It's a lovely area, and we could see the sea from the terrace of our appartment.
Take your own matches for the gas and batteries for the television remote control (though I believe you can get these from reception when it's open). It's certainly not the newest holiday village we've stayed and the play areas and tennis courts needed a bit of maintenance. Opening times of the facilities were inconvenient too, but it was only May so we were not surprised.

We had an amazing time at this hotel! The location was absolutely stunning, with a breathtaking view of the Italian Riviera. We loved that the hotel was located high on the hill, providing easy access to the beach down below. The hotel facilities were wonderful, with an on-site store that had everything we needed. Additionally, the restaurant located directly on the seaside was fantastic and the breakfasts were delicious. We were impressed with the cleanliness of this hotel and the friendliness of the staff, who were always ready to help with our transportation needs.
Don't have any issues at all.

We were traveling with our dog & it was the perfect place for her to explore but more importantly for us to explore Cinque Terre! We were there off-season (late November) & had the place almost to ourselves.

The facilities are terrible. Make sure you arrive with a lot of food and other supplies as the market on-site is pathetic and the restaurant and other facilities are open at obscure hours. The place seems like a school camp location - it's a waste of an amazing view/ location - it should be re-vamped and made a luxury resort.

Paradise found! The view from the rooms and the well maintained property made our stay a pleasure! The convenience store had everything we needed. Location perfect for day trips to Cinque Terre, Portofino and Pisa.
We did not realize swimming pool would be closed, and that there would be extra charges for tennis. Some of the problems with the room (broken bathroom fan and lights, lack of access to internet - after we paid for it) were not attended to despite two requests.

A very nice stay with some great aspects to it. the location was superb, with easy access to nearby towns and attractions. the beach was fantastic, and the private area made it feel exclusive. the staff were friendly and welcoming, which made for a pleasant stay.
The accommodation was a bit outdated and could use some improvement. the on-site amenities were limited, with a small market and restaurant with limited hours.

The hotel was in a quiet location between Bonassola and Levanto. It was easy to access both villages and the Cinque Terre.
There were holes in the sheets, the room was dusty, no way of lighting the gas cooker (until we borrowed a lighter from the very helpful bar man). Although there was a bar, restaurant and shop, they were rarely open. The tennis court was covered in weeds and in a poor state. The front door did not fit and rattled, the acommodation was tired and in need of modernisation. Although the place was almost empty we were still put in a ground floor cabin which had a limited view. If you are thinking of staying, it is more like camping. This was very expensive for what we got.

The view was awesome! It was quiet and convenient to get to Cinque Terre by car. There is a playground near the cafe bar which is really nice break for the parents and kids.
The bed in the bedroom was really hard and so were the pillows. The sofa beds were softer and more comfortable.

Nestled in nature, the accommodations are similar to those of an inexpensive state park cabin in the US. the cottages are located on a small hill facing the breathtaking sea views, which can be enjoyed from private balconies. There are some facilities such as a large pool and restaurants that are available ' use. the location is conveniently accessible by some trains and provides a peaceful getaway from the cities.
The quality of furnishings and amenities in the rooms leaves much to be desired.

The village is situated on the coast, in a real pine forest. The sea view is breathtaking. Excellent food & wine at the restaurant.
The village is 4 km far from Levanto on the up&down coast road-you can't walk on it. There's no bus, you have to take a taxi that costs 20 euro, to get to the train station. The sanitary's were from the '70, not suitable for a 4star residence.
